August has come and because of my busy-ness, I didn't realize it's already Kadayawan month!!! What's with Kadayawan anyway?
It's a festive occasion, a thanksgiving for bountiful harvest. No wonder I'm seeing Durian fruit everywhere, I'm still waiting for signs of Rambutan, and Lanzones. My mom who likes Marang, was shocked - why? Marang nowadays are sold by kilos!!! What happened to the good old days? Inflation, inflation...
Anyways, the other good thing about this month aside from abundant fruits swarming the city, the many activities in store for this month, is the fact that everywhere will be going on SALE! Hmm...bonus, bonus...I know HDMF already received their bonuses (SONA - heheh) but for peeps like me that stays at home, what bonus can we get? Sigh!
Oh and the flowers, flowers will be displayed in SM (their usual venue near parking lot) and there would be lots of actors and actresses who will come...ah, yeah...the native products...the horse fight, the floral float parade and a lot more! Coming to Davao? This month is the right time to come! See you!
