Playstation Move

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

Technology nowadays is a man's bestfriend.  Everywhere you go, each individual seem to have some kind of gadget, obviously, the cellphone.  Some on the other hand, add some fun on their menu, like the PSP.  And I'm one of them.

I remember when I was young, I used to play video games with my friends and cheat some (Star Wars shortcut, Commandos thirty lives).  We used to compete with each other and sometimes help to accomplish missions.

Then in college, I used to spend most of my free time in a video house called the Sonic Boom where I definitely became the queen of Puzzle Bobble (aced it through the finish line), compete with racing cars (usually I get second), and fly like a pro in flying war games.  It came to a point that finally, I got tired of playing video games.

Then came the PSP.  Who doesn't want to own a video game that you can play anywhere, anytime, at your own convenience?  It was one of the coolest invention ever since we as a family used to compete with each other playing our favorite little game, Tekken.

Then recently, we saw this Playstation Move promotion in Katy Mills Mall.  Wow, finally they have evolve to something we've always been stalling to have (we have been planning the similar game console ever since, but I didn't have the heart to insist on one because when we tried the other 'active' gaming console in a store, it is so hard to manipulate - or I am not doing it right).  At any rate, we stalled in getting one.

But at this time, I think I'm decided.  Why? Here's why:
  1. PS Move is compatible with our PS3 (Convenient.  We only have to choose the MOVE bundle package for $99 and there you go.)
  2. It's a definite MOVE from an inactive game to an active one.  Who wouldn't choose to exercise while having FUN doing it?
  3. It is user-friendly with a motion and navigation controller that's easy to understand.
  4. Since it is an extension of PS3 and PS3 is like THE ultimate purchase (it has all that I needed - blu ray videos, PS networking, HD Graphics AND Netflix - and now, the PS Move).
  5. Looking forward to playing the 'active' Tekken.
The list of games isn't extensive yet, but knowing Sony, in time I'm expecting to see Tekken, since my youngest already has his moves ready (he imitates those Tekken moves that's so funny to see).  So for now, I'm looking forward to playing the Sports Champions and the SingStar + Dance.

But our family have different interests and hobbies, so I'm expecting a variety of games to own.  The kids are already egging on it and we know it's the right time to have one, a move that's definitely for keeps.

Series: Missing (Candian TV Series)

I am, I admit, have a lot of things in my hand, and I get away from them from time to time and watch series on NetFlix.

The one that caught my attention was the series Missing, which only had three seasons, and each of them good to watch.  I was disappointed that after the last episode of the third season, the series was canceled.  Huh?

I mean, I guess I'm one of the many viewers who will always wonder what happened next, there's not even a hint of closure.  Everything was hanging, and I don't like it one bit.

I hope that somebody somewhere will continue the series.  It's a good one actually, like watching CSI or Law and Order or similar series to that effect.  It has a lot of angle I like, and I'm hopeful it will continue.

People behind series, I hope you'll do justice before you end something.  An avid viewer will really have a time dwelling on what-ifs.

And if you do the series again, I hope it has all the old cast in it.  Crossing fingers.

Road Safety

It's been three days since hubby had an car accident that he survived with only a fractured clavicle.  It was in itself a miracle since the car as he said was in wreck, there was a blunt impact and both drivers and passengers, safe.

At this time, I am still in a bit of shock and I do not know what to think with what have happened.  It is an obvious fact that our lives can be taken in a blink of an eye, we don't know for sure when and how, but we are vulnerable to anything and everything and only luck and God's mercy can change that.

It goes without saying that even if you are trying to be safe, the others might not.

It may be now my hubby's second life, and we are thankful.

But, he is recuperating.  To say that he's now ok is comforting, but I know that he is still in a lot of pain.  Sprain is painful, imagine having a broken bone.

Having a fracture like a shoulder bone would take about three weeks to one month of healing.  And it would take three months before you totally mobilize or use the affected area, but you can only do as much as lift a light load.  Although clavicle fracture is a common thing, it doesn't have to be taken lightly.  For the body to heal completely, it has to have enough rest and pump with Cs to help the healing process.

With car accidents, there's no way to say that being a safe driver makes it safe.  Because even a safe driver can get into accidents if the other driver isn't being safe.  The only weapon we got is pray before driving and be very attentive and alert to everything going on when on the road.

I may have been a bit off now with driving, but it took me a lot of time before I had the courage to drive again.

I had my own driving accident when I was still a teenager when I sneak out our car and I only had a permit.  That was a long time lesson, one that made me stop driving but when I got here and thought how necessary is to drive, my hands are up and I gave up on the idea of not driving.

Now I already had my license and driving and knowing how it went with my defensive driving hubby, did not budge my courage.  I guess its necessity.  Well, if you're in Texas, you can't imagine yourself walking all the time anyway.
