MoonRiver

I LOVE THIS SONG. Every time I hear this song, I go all poignant and I feel peace within me. We had a CD of this one by Andy Williams, and I love the instrumental piece too. I never knew that this was a part of the Breakfast at Tiffany's, I only knew of that fact when I was watching Kate and Leopold since there was a scene there that an old man listen to the same song every night at 12 midnight and sleep afterwards when the music stops. So, romantic.

I have three versions here, one from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn and the other one was acoustic- I don't know who sang it but I love it! (And the last one is piano instrumental). Take your pick!

Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.
